Hana saw the pediatrician today. We learned two important pieces of information: 1) Hana is nearly 8 lbs! She is gaining weight like a champ. 2) We don't have to wake her up every 3 hours to eat anymore. We can let her sleep and eat as she pleases. This is a huge relief. Feeding her on demand is much easier than trying to stick to a schedule that doesn't suit her. The bottom line: The doc says she looks "perfect." Which means we don't have to bring her back until she is 1 month old.
The doc also told us we are about to enter a period where she will cry up to 3 hours a day, we won't be able to figure out why, and we won't be able to fix it. The advice is to just go with the flow. Well OK then. :) Easier said than done, I imagine.
